Update on Neville's Future in WWE

Update on Neville's Future in WWE

Their report disputes Ryan Satin's report for Pro Wrestling Sheet last night where he claims that his sources say, "there does seem to be some truth in that claim", in regards to the rumors Neville requested his WWE release. It was explained on this week's 205 Live that Amore would be invoking his rematch clause and would challenge Kalisto for the title at the TLC PPV. Either Neville is going to get back to work, or we're about to be hit with one of those infamous WWE.com posts announcing the two have parted ways.

The Wrestling Observer website is also reporting about the rumors surrounding Neville.

According to Dave Meltzer, Kalisto and Amore were not scheduled to clash until the TLC pay-per-view on October 28, but Neville walking out forced the promotion's hand in moving that timeline up. He was originally scheduled to face Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore in a non-title lumberjack match but Kalisto wound up facing Amore in a title match and becoming the new champion. His last TV appearance was on the 10/2 episode of Raw that featured Kalisto joining the cruiserweight division.

Neville apparently walked out before Raw went on the air, which caused a change in plans.

Though WWE have officially denied that he's quit, stories are continuing to emerge that he will no longer be affiliated with the company. You'd hate to see someone as exciting and talented as Neville leave the company, but at the same time, you could maybe see where he could be a bit frustrated with his direction within the company. He's been a bright spot in the cruiserweight division so hopefully, WWE can convince him to stay.
