Anyone who owns a PSVR headset already will be sad to learn that it's not possible to swap Processor Units with the new model. Aside from functioning like a regular credit card, it will also give other exclusive bonuses like Sony reward points and PlayStation Store credit. But as this change necessitates a new Processor Unit and cables, owners of the previous PSVR model can not simply swap out units for the older existing model. For existing owners wanting to get the most of their HDR functionality, it doesn't look like you'll be able to just purchase the upgraded processor unit according to the system's FAQs page. The cables which connect that to the Processing box will also be slimmer and more streamlined. The bundle is expected to be sold at a price of about $400. In Canada, the base PlayStation VR bundle starts at $549.99. Their Paris Games Week 2017 Media Showcase press conference will take place on October 30 at 3pm GMT (that's 10am EST), and will feature "some spectacular new games coming to PS4 and [PlayStation VR]".

The second generation Sony PlayStation VR is now available in India for INR 37,990.
