Google explains why it got rid of the 3.5mm headphone jack

Last week, following a seemingly endless stream of leaks and reports, Google officially announced the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL smartphones, alongside a wide range of new and updated hardware.

If you are planning to gift these smartphones to your beloved ones on the occasion of Diwali then probably it won't be possible as both will be only available after Diwali. But their are differences.

"We want to provide a little more information about headphone options for the Pixel 2", wrote Orrin Hancock, a Pixel community manager and Google employee, in a Support post. Yet even with all that RAM, the Pixel 2 XL can't compete in the processing department against the iPhone 8 Plus. It can run circles around anything Qualcomm can now produce. The Pixel 2 XL is a more sensible buy, though Apple CEO Tim Cook argues that the iPhone X with its thousand dollar price tag is "value for money". It seems that the shipping estimates shot up nearly instantly, especially for the Black & White color option for the Pixel 2 XL (affectionately known as the panda color).

The phones will also work with Google's new $159 wireless Pixel Buds. That's because of a few things: first, it's larger at 6in; second, it's an OLED display; and third, it's got a higher resolution.

Is it wrong that all we want is for existing Chromebooks to get the Play Store?

We all expected the Google Pixel 2 XL's camera to be stunning, based on last year's model. "Moving to the USB-C audio port with Pixel 2 allows us to provide a better audio and digital experience, as we move towards a bezel-less future". The iPhone 8 Plus still has a big forehead and chin.

Offline sales are very important and should not be overlooked even in developed countries. It comes integrated with your Pixel smartphone.

Google launched the Google Pixel 2 and the Google Pixel 2 XL recently. For example,"Ok Google call Dad" through voice recognition will be deciphered by sound of voice, so Google knows that it's me speaking, not my wife and then call "dad" from my contacts list.

After the barrage of Echo devices Amazon released in late September, Google just countered with a surprise of its own. On the front of both devices is an 8-megapixel selfie shooter with fixed focus and f/2.4 aperture, it is capable of shooting 1080p videos @ 30fps. It costs $150 more than the 64GB Pixel 2 XL.

The Pixel 2 offers more when it comes to colours as this device can be picked up in Just Black, Clearly White and Kinda Blue.
