More importantly, they are doing the right things. It's worth buying if you love graphics because this is one of the best looking games you will ever see. And, just as you'd expect, Forza Motorsport 7 doesn't buck the trend. Forza 7 has done away with the credit rewards system. Keep pressing the button until you've found the view that you're comfortable with. They're working to restore the VIP rewards so that they work exactly as they did in Forza Motorsport 6 with a 2x credit bonus after every race. Even when you're not in a race, Forza Motorsport 7 feels more exciting and involving, and that's a good start. The courses have been "brought to life", feeling real and organic. The quality of the PC experience will continue to be a top priority. Here in Forza 7, no licensed music is offered so I ended up playing my own songs via Spotify instead. The studio intends to revert its VIP membership benefits back to how they worked in previous Forza games after outcry from buyers that the new system resembled a pay-to-play mobile game.

The problem. For $20, players can purchase a VIP upgrade.

In fact, the whole prize crate system feels redundant and unnecessary. Collect over 700 Forzavista cars, including the largest collection of Porsche, Ferrari, and Lamborghini models available in any racing game. If you don't like it, let them know.

Collecting cars is an integral part of Forza Motorport 7, with the new auto tier system locking out the purchase of certain vehicles until your garage is sufficiently sizeable. Further increasing your auto tier by continuing to expand your garage still has benefits though, including increased rewards every time you level up. It's a move that makes sense, but I still hope that the option to create races based on vehicle class is added in the future for those of us who like to mix the action up.

With Forza Motorsport 7, everyone can experience the danger and beauty of competitive racing at the limit. These mod cards are tied to Forza 7's new loot box feature. The racing in Forza Motorsport 7 is more refined, accessible and competitive than ever. It's a win-win, and it was loved by Forza fans.

Overall, this game is worth buying if you are a hardcore fan of cars and love racing no matter what.

"Forza Motorsport 7" is now out for the Xbox One and the PC. We reviewed the Xbox One version.
