Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to make first Liverpool start against Leicester tomorrow

After the worldwide break, Liverpool kicked things off by losing 5-0 at Manchester City.

"When you are this age and you didn't play so often in the Premier League then it's a Premier League game in the stats, whether it's one minute, two minutes, it's five, it's 20". The game against Leicester is a great opportunity to bring in some new faces and inject renewed energy into the side.

"The truth.is that Liverpool are no different under boss Klopp than they were under Brendan Rodgers", Shearer wrote in his column for The Sun newspaper on Monday, after Liverpool were held to a 1-1 Premier League draw at home by Burnley at the weekend.

It would be a huge surprise were Liverpool not to heavily rotate for the Carabao Cup fixture tomorrow night.

Klopp said: "I'm not sure if there is pressure on us". And so it's really good to give him the opportunity.

"I have pressure, but it can not be bigger than the pressure I put on myself".

Klopp has also revealed that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will make his full debut for Liverpool following his deadline day move from Arsenal.

Klopp announced: "I'm not sure the world is ready for such a insane decision, a third goalkeeper in one season!"

"

"A third goalkeeper in one season!"

".

Sturridge failed to grasp his latest opportunity with both hands and still looks unlikely to remain in Klopp's first-team plans once Sadio Mane returns from his suspension. He had an impact when he came on, now you have three of the line up! We are obviously together with him and the analysts to show him how we want to play him in this position and in that position.

And, that Jon Flanagan will be part of the squad for Liverpool at Leicester. However, Dejan Lovren, who missed the stalemate with Burnley with a back injury, is likely to miss out.
