Mueller's attorney Gabriel McFarland asked Dent why he did not intervene if he saw the alleged groping.

Mueller has sued Swift, claiming he was falsely accused and lost his job.

On Tuesday, the day of opening statements in the civil trial, pink notes spelled out, "FREE TAY!" courtesy of the "Blank Spaces for Taylor" project by the design-centric company Craftsy. Now, a number of Swift's famous friends and admirers are showing their support for the pop star on social media.

"I'm not going to allow you or your client to make me feel in any way that this is my fault", Swift responded.

Mueller told his own lawyer, Gabe McFarland, he purposefully closed his hand during the photo opportunity with Taylor, "so as to not poke" her. While Swift insists that she did not force them to do so, the 55-year-old broadcaster believes that she pressured the station to fire him.

The case remains underway in federal court in Denver.

Swift's assistants testified in depositions that as soon as the photo session ended, the singer told everyone in the room about the incident.

Reporter Amanda Zitzman, who was in the courtroom, tweeted that Swift said that Mueller and his girlfriend seemed inebriated during the 2013 meet-and-greet, saying, "It appeared to me that the two of them had a few cocktails". I wasn't going to blame Greg Dent for something Mr Mueller did. Mueller testified this week that Haskell had told him that he had groped Swift's butt.

Swift testified, "He did not touch my rib". Swift alleges Mueller stuck his hand under her dress and grabbed her buttocks during a photo op, which he denied in court this week.

So brace yourselves for a lot of back and forth and he-said-she-said.

"I don't feel anything about Mueller".

She told the jurors: "He stayed attached to my bare a** cheek as I lurched away from him". Swift, who is only seeking £0.80 in damages, counter-sued for assault and battery.

Dent said Mueller groped Swift under her skirt a moment before a staff photographer took a photo of Swift, Mueller and Mueller's then-girlfriend.

She is expected to take the witness stand herself later in the trial.

'It was a definite grab.

(9) The defense asked if Swift is open to the possibility it wasn't Mueller who supposedly grabbed her.

Frank Bell, the Grammy Award-winning chart-topper's radio liason, backed up Swift's version of events, what she said to him immediately after the photo session.

The "Out of the Woods" singer later countersued Mueller, saying in court papers that he "intentionally reached under her skirt, and groped with his hand an intimate part of her body in an inappropriate manner, against her will, and without her permission".

Andrea Swift also said that they did not report the alleged assault to the police out of privacy concerns. "We absolutely wanted to keep this private, but we did not want him to get away with it".
