Netflix Renews 'GLOW' For a Second Season

Netflix's wrestling show Glow (Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling) will return for a second season. GLOW's impact on professional wrestling is easy to see even today; the league was the first to place female wrestlers squarely in the spotlight and elevated ringside antics to new heights. With tension between the two and Ruth's determination getting in the way, they must find a way to work together for the show.

Netflix has revealed that it's renewing its Gorgeous Ladies Of Wrestling series, GLOW, for a second season. The cast also includes Betty Gilpin, Sydelle Noel, Jackie Tohn, Britney Young, Kia Stevens, Gayle Rankin, Sunita Mani, Marianna Palka, Kimmy Gatewood, Rebekka Johnson, Kate Nash, Britt Baron, Marc Maron, Chris Lowell, Rich Sommer, and Bashir Salahuddin. The show, co-created by Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch and executive produced by "Orange Is the New Black" creator Jenji Kohanwill, will return for another 10 episodes. The first season was fairly well-received by critics, boasting a 81% positive rating on Metacritic and 93% "fresh" rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
