Caught on Camera: Car Plunges From Parking Garage

The video, released Thursday, shows the vehicle bouncing off the pavement into a Chevrolet Tahoe SUV, then rolling upside down in the alley.

In what can be seen as an unfathomable situation, a camera captured a auto falling into view out of nowhere at a parking garage in Austin. Then the BMW suddenly slams into the ground behind the Chevrolet Tahoe, hitting the back of the vehicle and rolling upside down. They say she hit the gas instead of the brake and plowed through the cable wires that form a barrier along the edge of the garage.

"I heard all these loud noises and bangs", Burch is quoted as saying.

The BMW driver sustained serious injuries and the driver of the Tahoe was uninjured. "So I just immediately just put it in drive and started driving forward and as I started driving forward, the auto landed on me". She was seriously injured in the crash.

The Austin Code Department said the owner of Littlefield Garage has been in touch with engineering firms to make upgrades and repairs.

Moments later, people run to help the driver escape.

Last September, 23-year-old William O'Connor's Toyota 4Runner fell from the garage's top level while O'Connor was on his way to nearby Gold's Gym.
