Trump expresses more frustration over Russia investigation

The tweet came as news broke that special counsel Robert Mueller is investigating Trump personally for possible obstruction of justice.

Trump, who tweeted earlier Thursday that the investigation was "the single greatest WITCH HUNT" in U.S. political history and is being led "by some very bad and conflicted people", tried to turn the conversation to the 2016 Democratic presidential nominee, Hillary Clinton.

President Trump questioned why his relations with Russian Federation were being examined, while Hillary Clinton's are not, in a series of tweets posted less than a day after a report he is being investigated for attempted obstruction of justice. Trump tweeted Thursday afternoon.

Meanwhile, Twitter found the "Crooked H" vandalism amusing.

Specifically, he wanted to know why he is being inspected for "my non-dealings" with Russian Federation but Clinton's family is not.

The twin tweets were posted at 3:43 p.m. and 3:56 p.m. EST, just a little more than four hours after Trump took to the White House's Roosevelt Room to call for "unity to our long-divided country" in the wake of the shooting of House Majority Whip Steve Scalise and several others at a GOP baseball practice in Virginia Wednesday. However, the FBI cleared Clinton and recommended no charges in July 2016, and reiterated its position in November after the bureau discovered a new trove of her emails shortly before the presidential election.

Comey told the Senate Intelligence Committee last week that the president pressured him to "let go" of the agency's investigation into former national security adviser Michael Flynn's alleged Moscow ties in a private Oval Office meeting in February. It's unclear who the president was referring to as "very bad and conflicted", though some Republicans have criticized Mueller for naming attorneys to his team who have given money to Democrats in the past.
