Ryan Reynolds builds up buzz for 'Deadpool 2'

Deadpool first visited the mansion in the 2016 film while recruiting Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Colossus for his final battle against Ajax and Angel Dust. The rest of the sequel is being shot in Vancouver.

Sound off! What do you think about Ryan Reynolds first picture from the set of Deadpool 2?

Confirming the earlier reports, Reynolds himself posted a photo to Instagram, showing him in costume in front of the iconic mansion. Reynolds is again serving as a producer on Deadpool 2 alongside X-Men franchise caretakers Simon Kinberg and Lauren Shuler Donner.

It seems that Deadpool 2 has started production. The Deadpool star took to Twitter to share a photo of the X-Men Mansion while captioning the photo, "Dropped by the X-Mansion. Big f-king surprise. No one's home". We know that Zazie Beetz is playing Domino and that Josh Brolin is on as Nathan Summers, AKA Cable.

For those of you unfamiliar with the X-Mansion-the shorter name for Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters-it operates as something of a home base for the X-Men, and a place for younger mutants to learn how to harness their powers.

The tweet alludes to the lack of X-Men appearing in the first film. The duo headlined an ongoing comic book series, Cable & Deadpool, for 50 issues. The film is set for a June 1st, 2018 debut. Jack Kesy is signed on to play a villain, who many suspect is Black Tom Cassidy - though it's unknown whether or not he'll be the film's primary villain.
