Pant, an explosive batsman and wicketkeeper, and Kuldeep were among the five players kept on standby for the Champions Trophy.

It is understood that Anil Kumble will remain India's coach for the West Indies tour.

The BCCI has hinted Kumble could stay on for the West Indies tour.
